Darranda Rowswell

Originally from Chicago, IL, Soror Rowswell crossed at Virginia Union University, Beta Epsilon Chapter, Fall of '91. She first came to the UK with her work in 1995, where she met her now husband. After returning to the US for a while and getting married, she officially returned to the UK in 2008.
Soror Rowswell is the Director of Development for Royal Albert Hall. She is a senior fundraising professional in the charity sector who has worked across various organizations and causes. She has over 20 years of experience generating income and leading high-performing fundraising teams in the UK and the US.
As the youngest of 9 children, Soror Rowswell is passionate about helping others through various community service activities. She is currently the Chair of Trustees for a domestic abuse charity, Peterborough Women's Aid, and has held volunteer roles, including befriender in Age UK's Call in Time program, Trustee of Men Stopping Violence (Atlanta, GA), Co-Chair of Delta Academy for Marietta Roswell Alumnae Chapter (Atlanta GA), Chair of Delta Academy in Louisville Alumnae Chapter.
Soror Rowswell enjoys new adventures, including traveling, running, dancing, skiing, and scuba diving.
